The short version: we collect only what we need to sell you our products, answer your messages and send emails you asked for. We never sell your information. Our templates are files you fill in on your own device, so we never see the details of the children or families in your care.

Who we are

Kidsproutly sells editable daycare forms, curriculum kits and printables to childcare providers in Canada and the United States. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Kidsproutly. Questions about your privacy can be sent through our contact page.

What we collect

When you buy: your name, email address, country and any answers you give at checkout (for example, the form style or age group you choose). Payment is handled by our checkout provider, and we never see or store your full card number.
When you join our waitlist or request a free resource: your first name, email address and your consent to receive emails.
When you contact us: your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
When you visit our website: basic technical information that web servers record automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Our forms also use your IP address briefly to limit spam.

What we don't collect

Our templates are Word and PDF files that you download, edit and store yourself. Information you write on them about children, parents or staff stays with you. It is never sent to us.

Cookies and analytics

Our website does not set cookies. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If we add privacy-friendly analytics, we will update this section first. When you click a buy button you go to our checkout provider, Gumroad, which uses its own cookies to run the checkout and keep it secure. Those are covered by Gumroad's privacy policy.

To keep our website secure and protect it from spam and abuse

Emails and your consent

We only send marketing emails to people who agreed to receive them, and we ask you to confirm your email address first. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Order and receipt emails are sent because you made a purchase and are not marketing.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run Kidsproutly, and only as much as they need:

Gumroad, which processes payments and delivers your files
Kit, which stores our email list and sends waitlist and newsletter emails
Resend, which delivers messages sent through our contact form to our inbox
Vercel, which hosts our website and runs our signup and contact forms

Some of these companies store data outside your province or country, including in the United States. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. We keep email list details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to help you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Contact us through our contact page and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're in Canada and aren't happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

Our products are for adult childcare providers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we'll also let customers know by email.
